A stunning 40 shots to 4 victory by Skip Jeff Richards and
his team of Alan Jones, Chris Walters and Greg Davies were the difference in
the Crusaders winning the points at Ammanford Town last Saturday .
All three other rinks went down in their matches but Jeff’s
rink made the difference resulting in the final score being 80 shots to 74 in
Crusaders favour!! A truly stunning performance !!

The Crusaders won their latest league encounter with a fine
win by 86 shots to 66.75 at home to Parc Williams on Saturday. The Crusaders
picked up 12 points for their efforts. Three rinks won their games, Jeff
Richards by 28-14,Mike Rees by 20-12.75 and The Reverend Elson Phillips by
19-15. Only Clive Coles rink suffered a loss, going down by 19 shots to 25
The Club are holding a Curry Night at the Colliers Arms in Pwll on Saturday
27th July with a 7.30pm start. Tickets are £12 per person and all club
members are encouraged to bring their wives/partners along with them. Tickets
will be available from Alan Jones from 13th July.
The Crusaders moved into fourth place in the second division table with an emphatic 119 shots to 52 win at home to Cwmamman on Saturday. Three rinks won their match whilst the other rink drew their’s. The Crusaders won 13 points to join the promotion race!
The Crusaders came away with four points form their away
game at Cross Hands last Saturday. Clive Coles and Mike Rees won their rinks by
17-14 and 21 respectively only for Jeff Richards and The Reverend Eldon
Phillips to succumb to defeat in their matches.

The Crusaders have been dealt a major blow with Skip Wyndham Gravelle handing in a transfer request!
Grav has decided to move to local rivals, Dafen Welfare, as he wishes to play at a higher level.

The Crusaders won their second match in the week with a ten
point winning margin away at Tumble on Saturday.
Reverend Eldon Phillips’ rink lost by four shots, 15 -19, Jeff Richards won his rink by 25 shots to 12 and Wyndham Gravelle and his men won by just the one point by 17 shots to 16. Clive Coles rink drew their game 19 shots all.
Final Score : Crusaders 76 Tumble 66. Crusaders won 11 points.
