Glasgow Visitors

Our Glasgow friends have not deserted us , and are intending  to play us on the 4th May 2019, six rinks,  Glug, Glug, Glug. I have requested an open date from The league, and also asked Llanelli bowls club if their Green is available.

Club A.G.M.

The provisional date for the Club AGM has been set for Friday 19th October at 6:30pm, to be held at the Colliers Arms in Pwll.  If you wish to include any topic on the agenda please contact  Jeff Richards ASAP.  If you have a problem with the date, please contact the secretary, as if insufficient numbers are able to attend ,the AGM will  have to be re-arranged.

Annual Dinner

The annual End of Season Dinner , is to be held at Stradey Arms on Saturday 29th September. Please arrive at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. A Two course meal and  terrific top entertainment has been provided by and sanctioned by, the clubs’ generous Treasurer  and organised by David Lloyd and Mike Rees.

At this moment in time there is likely to be quite a strong turnout and a really good night is anticipated!   If you haven’t already done so , let Mr David Lloyd know what meal you would prefer, Chicken or Beef with a dessert of either Apple Pie or Cheesecake.

CRUSADERS END THE SEASON WITH A 14 POINT VICTORY!

The Crusaders brought the curtain down on the 2018 season with an emphatic 14 point win against Parc Williams at Dafen Park on Wednesday.

Jeff Richards rink won 16-8, David Lloyd won by 15-13.5. Mike Rees won by 24 shots to 8.25 and Wyndham Gravelle won by 23 shots to 13.

Crusaders finished fifth in the table with thoughts about what could have been if results in August had been slightly better!
